Our Story
In 2018 some of us began to ask the question, “What might God do if we simply asked him to do it?” We asked this question about planting a church in Boulder Colorado. Our deepest desire is simple, to know Jesus and make him known.
What might God do if we simply asked him to move in this time and place? What might he do if we simply asked him to do as Paul says, “that you being rooted and grounded in love may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Mission
We exist to know Jesus and make him known because Jesus loves us
Values
We value the glory of the Triune God in the gathering of his people to know him in prayer, preaching, song, and sacraments because God loves us.
We value the glory of the Triune God in the scattering of his people to make him known in discipleship because God loves us.
Boulder Community Church: Vision
Our chief aim is to be disciples of Jesus in our neighborhood, our cities, and the ends of the earth.
Boulder Community Church: Discipleship Definition
"Being a disciple is abiding in Jesus and is the Great Privilege of participating in Jesus’ Great Work of making disciple-makers of all peoples by reaching the lost and teaching each other to obey, going wherever he sends us in his authority and by his power." -- Dr. Richard A. Shenk
